Frequently Asked Questions

Expert support for premium cycling components.

What makes Chris King bearings different from others?

We manufacture our own stainless steel and ceramic bearings in-house at our Portland factory. This allows us to control tolerances to a degree that is impossible with off-the-shelf components, resulting in bearings that actually get faster as they wear in.

How often should I service my Chris King hubs?

For optimal performance, we recommend a basic service once a season or every 6-12 months depending on riding conditions. Our components are designed to be fully serviceable with basic tools, ensuring they last a lifetime.

Do you offer a warranty on your components?

Yes, we offer a Lifetime Warranty on all of our headsets, bottom brackets, and hubs. This covers defects in materials and workmanship for the original owner, reflecting our commitment to sustainable, long-lasting products.

How can I ensure I am ordering the correct headset fit?

Headset fitment depends on your frame's headtube inner diameter and your fork's steerer tube diameter. We recommend using our Fit Guide or contacting our technical support team with your bike's make and model for assistance.

What is your return policy for online orders?

We accept returns on unused, uninstalled items in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase. Please note that custom-built wheels or special color orders may be subject to a restocking fee.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship our precision components to cyclists worldwide. Shipping costs and import duties are calculated at checkout based on your specific location and the weight of the order.
